Høiax was established in 1927 and is Norway’s oldest and a leading manufacturer of high quality water heaters. As the demand for water heaters increased, new manufacturing techniques needed to be developed. Thus, in the early seventies Høiax was one of the first in the world to start production of stainless steel water heaters. Stainless steel water heaters are now commonly installed throughout Scandinavia.
Quality engineering
Høiax moved into its fully automated plant in 2000. The manufacturing processes were improved by designing and building innovative machinery. The best engineering available is used to guarantee that a quality product is manufactured each and every time.

OEM products
Høiax develops and manufactures multiple purpose inner tanks by specification according to customer demands. Our tank-in-tank system has a unique resistance to external pressure on the inner cylinder (approx 5 Bar), which represents a great competitive advantage.

Stainless steel of the highest quality
Høiax manufactures Titanium Extreme stainless steel water heaters from 1.4521 Niobium-Titanium stabilized steel, which offers extreme protection against corrosion.
Recycling stainless steel
Stainless steel is constructed using up to 80% recycled materials and therefore all scrap is recycled to be used again.
Patented and environmentally friendly pickling
All good quality stainless steel water heaters need pickling to prolong their life. Pickling is essential for products installed in areas where the water has a high chloride or lime value.
Høiax is aware of the environmental impact of pickling stainless steel, as traditional pickling method uses chemicals considered unkind to the environment. Therefore Høiax operates a patented in-house pickling process to reuse up to 95% of the water consumed. All discharged water is also cleaned of chemicals before being released back in to the environment, and the extracted chemicals are treated and recycled. Our pickling process is therefore unique and environmentally friendly.
World leading welding technology
Høiax Titanium Extreme stainless steel water heaters are butt-welded using a fully automated welding technique, which is clean and smooth to prevent crevice corrosion. The welding technique reduces stress and damage to the integrity of the steel and eliminates product rejections during production. The Titanium Extreme stainless steel water heaters offer the user excellent performance and service for many years.
Pipe systems, hydronic heating and heat pumps
On the domestic market Høiax is also a leading supplier of pipe systems and hydronic heating.
